The theme for January was Ladybirds and all I knew was that I wanted to do cute ladybirds as I think realistic ones are horrible looking things!
I've never done an ATC swap before, although I did make a set of 4 ATCs for a challenge last year (my first ATCs ever). It's quite tricky to get used to the size as they are only 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". I started off by sketching the ladybirds and filling in the space around them with sponged distress inks.
Then I stamped the sentiments before adding some embossed flowers and dots. I also added a dot of crystal effects to the centre of each flower. Finally, I coloured the ladybirds with my SU markers and added a cheeky face with a gel pen.
I hope my swap partner (Marlene in Nevada) likes them. February's theme is Stars so I need to get my thinking cap on for that one.

Love the ladybirds! I've given you the LIEBSTER award, check it out on my blog :) x
